Location: Ellicott City, Maryland
The goal of this project was to create an outdoor area that will stand the test of time and trends. To achieve this goal classic materials such as stone walls, flagstone patios, and iron railings were used to create a peaceful and timeless backyard retreat. Three different areas to this project were created using the natural grade that existed on the property. A small raised patio offers as a viewing platform to overlook the water feature below where three water cascades are centered on the rear of the home. The dining area is located on the lowest level of the backyard where a rectangular pergola offers shade and structure for the homeowners and guests.
