Michael has been working in the landscape industry since 1986 when he worked as a crew leader for Fanning & Lynch, a landscape construction company in Gaithersburg, MD. From there, Mike moved on to co-found TRC Associates in 1987 which specialized in construction of large timber retaining walls. After being partner for over a year, Mike took the leap to found his own company in 1989. 23 years later, Clearwater Landscape has secured a reputation as an award winning design| build landscape company in the Washington DC metro area. Mike strives to maintain the value of quality from concept to completion and has succeeded, with multiple industry awards to serve as evidence. From a string of Landscape Contractors Association awards to four consecutive years as “Best of Frederick” and a “Top 100 Companies in the Green Industry”, Mike has proven time and time again that great design and quality workmanship are worth investing in.
